It is a rare happenstance when a child finds his true calling at 12 years of age. But, that is exactly what happened when Chris Stocks’ entire seventh grade class was tasked to create a mock stock portfolio for a school project. Every morning for a year, Chris chose and monitored his stocks and bought and sold them as needed. At the end of the year, his portfolio had grossed the most income out of all the students AND the faculty.

Fast forward ten years, Chris attended the University of Arizona in Tucson and joined the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity, of which, he is an active member to this day. He also participated in the prestigious business program at Aix-en-Provence in the south of France where he studied international economics and worked alongside various multi-national companies.

After graduating with a degree in Finance and Accounting, he interned for two years at Merrill Lynch before joining Morgan Stanley in 1995. Chris quickly went on to become one of Morgan Stanley’s youngest senior vice presidents in the history of the company.

Now, thirty years later, Chris has founded Stocks Wealth Management (SWM). He is honored that many of the relationships he built while at Morgan Stanley have chosen to continue working with him and his team at SWM. Together, they advise on client assets valued in the billions. By aligning with experts in their respective fields, SWM helps clients and their family offices select top attorneys, accountants, real estate professionals, and insurance advisors to navigate the ever-changing landscape of wealth management and achieve the best possible outcomes for their financial future.

Realizing that every client has a different relationship with money, Chris knows the importance of understanding what money means to them, their companies and their families for… generations. Hand-in-hand with investing for generations, Chris is a staunch believer in investing in Arizona, entrepreneurially and philanthropically.Chris has a keen entrepreneurial spirit that has seen him build a robust real estate portfolio which gives him a unique insight into land management, analysis, real estate market swings and so much more.

Investing in Arizona means giving back to the great state that has blessed his family for six generations. Through the years, Chris has been a valued member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Arizona, The Biltmore Lions Club and the Rotary Club of Paradise Valley as well as a supporter of the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC), Valley Guardians and countless other charities to numerous to mention.

Chris enjoys spending time with his two rescue dogs and with his two sons, Connor and Cole. He is an avid world traveler (having visited all seven continents) and golfer, so much so that he has attended The Master's in Augusta, Georgia every year for the past twenty years. He resides in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
